A formal second opinion service is available from the Intensive Care team. This does not involve a live link or a teleconference, and is used frequently to ask our expert opinion on complex cases, often involving the diagnosis and management advice. To provide a second opinion, we need
- the clinical history is provided via our website
- Investigations and images can be provided via a number of means
- Clinical results and investigations where relevant
Occasionally, the best format to discuss the case is via a live teleconferencing. A formal medical reports can also be provided.
Bespoke Medical Advice
Bespoke medical advice for patients around the world ….
In addition to clinical review, we can offer 1:1 Skype or telephone advice to either a clinician or a patient in order to look at options and find solutions. This bespoke service usually follows on from a clinical review enabling the consultants to have been able to access all necessary clinical data.
